Kathleen Walsh

“When you have Angels watching you…you can do anything”

Kat is one of the top producers in the area. She us knowledgeable, creative, and most of all one of the hardest working agents on Long Island.  Kat is best known for being a neighborhood fixture in the West End of Long Beach where she worked for many years in her family owned business Ballybannon Market, Mollys and the Mediterranean Seafood Café. Kat was a long time voice on WFAN radio where she was often heard defending her beloved Mets. When working closely with the Mets organizing she distributed thousands of Mets tickets to Police Departments, Fire Departments, the U.S. Army, Carpenters Union Local 45, Electrician Union Local 3, the Long Beach Recreation Center, MLK Center, Sanitation Department and area schools.

Kat’s proudest achievements include helping people effected by cancer. She raised $120,000 for Danny Marquino and presented the Robert Manzoni Scholarship in Long Beach High School. She assisted, along with the Mets Organization, having Danny and Rob, along with other families affected by Cancer, meet the Met players and attend the games.

In 2005 Ballybannon Market was honored by the Chamber of Commerce for being Merchant of the Year. She was also Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce.
